The ambitious aim of the International Art and Restoration Fair in Florence is to provide the whole world of cultural heritage with a prominent stage.
The Fair will take place in Florence from the 29th to the 31st October 2009 .
Our main goal is to be a point of reference in a sector that generates a huge amount of business, just think, for example, of the economic turnover of cultural tourism in Rome, Florence and Venice. After months of market studies and analysis the Florence International Art and Restoration Fair has come into being with the specific intention of bringing together various heritage sectors. It aims to cover conservation and restoration, including promotion and development, the manufacture of materials and their distribution, sophisticated tools and accessories, small, local schemes, large cultural and environmental projects and last but not least, art and artisanal products in the field of restoration.
Through this trade fair the town of Florence would like to consolidate its image in the world of art, conservation and restoration.
Participating in the Fair does not just mean being part of a large international showcase of art and restoration in a unique city, it also means joining forces to consolidate our country’s reputation as a centre for excellence in the production of art works, the specialist training of young people and resources for the conservation, restoration and promotion of cultural and environmental heritage.

The Fair has been granted the patronage of the Regione Toscana, the Provincia di Firenze, the Comune di Firenze and the CNR Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche.
